1. Surface treatment

Generally speaking, industrial aluminum profiles that have undergone artificial surface treatment have a longer service life. Even if no artificial surface treatment is carried out, an oxide film will naturally form. The difference is that the artificial oxide film formed by surface treatment is thicker, more uniform and denser than the oxide film formed naturally, can well isolate gases, and is more wear-resistant than the oxide film formed above nature.

2. Application environment

The service life of aluminum profiles in different application environments is also quite different. Some special industrial aluminum profiles will be used in water or in conditions with more obvious corrosion. In order to increase their service life, the anodizing time of aluminum alloy profiles will generally be increased, the thickness of the oxide film will be increased, or the surface will be hard-oxidized. The service life of aluminum alloy profiles used in outdoor environments and indoor venues is also different.
